Management Policy
We will grow together with our stakeholders by both business growth and solving social issues.
Since its founding, Keihanshin Building Co., Ltd. has grown alongside the development of local communities, mainly in the Keihanshin area, through its real estate leasing business centered on office buildings. Now, our business environment is entering a period of great change. We must deal with response to climate change, changes in population structure, diversification of work styles, and increasing stakeholder expectations. At the same time, these issues are also opportunities to question our corporate sustainability.
Under the Long-Term Business Plan formulated in May 2023, the Company aims to improve capital efficiency while building a foundation that enables sustainable growth despite significant changes in the external environment. While continuing to position the real estate leasing business as its core business, the Company is working to shift to a revenue structure that is well-balanced between stock business and flow business by engaging in new businesses such as a revolving-type investment business, equity investments, and overseas investments. At the same time, the Company is working to further diversify its portfolio through investments in new asset types, such as residences for lease aimed at corporations and healthcare facilities, in order to reduce risks associated with economic fluctuations and expand its stable revenue base.
In September 2024, we reviewed our Long-Term Business Plan in order to quickly achieve the monetization of new businesses and improve capital efficiency. By immediately tackling these issues, we were able to make more progress than expected over the past year.
Our corporate philosophy is "to provide valuable commercial space to customers so as to contribute to the community through the advancement of customers' and our businesses." As such, we believe that it is our mission to bring value to the people and activities assembled there based on the hard infrastructure of real estate. We will contribute to the achievement of a sustainable society while encouraging each employee to take on the challenge of helping us become a company that continues to be chosen over the long term.
